本研究の目的は，日本・ドイツ・中国の認知症高齢者の実態と施策についての国際調査を行い，その現状と課題を報告することにある。方法としては，2015 年県立広島大学で開催されたシンポジウム「世界における認知症対策の現状」での日本・ドイツ・中国の認知症高齢者医療・福祉の専門家による報告を踏まえて，文献調査，現地調査などを用いた。 その結果，日本とドイツは認知症高齢者の動向については類似した傾向が見られ，認知症高齢者家族に対して「認知症カフェ」の共通サービスが見られた。一方，中国は現時点では認知症高齢者の割合は少なく西洋医学と中医学といった医療での対応が主である。しかし今後，割合・絶対数共に急速に増加が見込まれているため，日独と同じように介護・福祉での対応も必要であることが予想された。 結論として，認知症高齢者の実態と施策に関しては，各国の文化・歴史・人口動態などが影響しており，各国特有の課題があることが示された。 |

The purpose of this study is to investigate of the actual conditions of elderly persons with dementia and relevant measures implemented in Japan, Germany and China, and to examine the results. The study was conducted using literature sources, field research, and other methods based on the reports presented by experts for the elderly with dementia from these countries at the symposium, “the Current State of Global Actions against Dementia,” held at Prefectural University of Hiroshima in 2015. As a result, similar trends were found in Japan and Germany regarding the situation surrounding these person, and both had “Dementia Cafés,” which provide services for family members of these person. In China, there are currently a smaller ratio of these person as compared to Japan and Germany, and medical approaches, such as Western medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine, are mainly used for dementia care. However, absolute number is likely to increase rapidly in the future, which will presumably necessitate nursing care and welfare services as seen in Japan and Germany. Our findings suggest that the actual condition of these person and relevant measures implemented in each country are influenced by its culture, history, demographic situation, and other such factors. |
