The results showed that more than half of the respondents are concerned about the children’s present environment. Most of them understood the general concept of welfare policy for persons with developmental disabilities, such as intellectual or motor disabilities, but few of them knew the newly established law and concepts for pervasive developmental disorders and hyperactivity syndrome.
