Using “older people with dementia and living at home” and some other expressions as key words, we searched articles published between 2013 and 2018 on Ichushi-Web, and 15 articles were extracted. As the support for older people with dementia to continue to live at home, “support to bring out the strength of older people with dementia and their family” was most frequently reported, and “support to stabilize the mind and body” and “support to promote informal support from their neighbors and friends” were also reported. The assessment and promotion of self-care ability of older people with dementia and their family, and the improvement of the environment to promote use of informal services were also observed. In addition, “responding at an appropriate time” and “connecting between the relevant professions” were reported as types of support provided by multi-professional collaboration.
